As an added bonus, we communication interns also had the opportunity to sit in on some of the weekly anniversary planning meetings with leaders from communications, marketing and corporate properties. I’d say that may be one of the most beneficial parts of the internship- getting to experience the organization at some of its highest levels.
As of Oct. 7, I am no longer with First Tennessee. I have begun a new phase of my career development and am now working with Caissa Public Strategies as an intern with Jack Sammons, chairman of the Memphis Shelby County Airport Authority and so many other organizations that play a role in our local economy. Google him!
I am absolutely thrilled and see this as THE most prime opportunity to really connect with what drives this city. Can’t wait to share more with you all as things get going around here!
Later,
Crys
