The purpose of this course is to integrate a professional journalism experience with a student’s intellectual and academic interests. This course was developed to create connections between practice outside the academy and the analytical and theoretical concerns of the field. Use this course as a springboard into the "real world." Take the opportunity to polish your skills and abilities and then, learn how to package them in a way that is guaranteed to land you that dream job.
